by ELLIMAN INSIDER TEAM

October 2025

Earlier this month, Swedish artist Sabina von Essen debuted her first-ever New York City exhibition, TEN, within an opulent $30-million Beaux-Arts townhouse at 349 West 86th Street on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, currently on the market with Lydia Sussek of Douglas Elliman. This exclusive, one-night-only event seamlessly integrated art and real estate, offering over 400 distinguished collectors and tastemakers an immersive experience into Sabina’s artistic journey.

The exhibition, curated in partnership with Elliman agent, Christina Kremidas, featured ten original paintings, each representing a significant chapter in Sabina’s life. The artworks were thoughtfully displayed throughout the home, allowing guests to experience the evolution of her artistic expression. Attendees were treated to caviar and spirits provided by Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars.

“When I heard that Sabina was looking for the perfect venue for her first-ever United States art exhibition, I knew that we at Douglas Elliman had what she was looking for," said Kremidas. "Our collection of one-of-a-kind, ultra-luxury properties is what sets us apart. Sure enough, we quickly identified this stunning Beaux-Arts mansion that served as the most impeccable setting for this special evening. It was also an excellent opportunity to introduce the 400 prominent collectors, tastemakers, and influencers on our guest list to a property that is currently on the market.”
