South Florida real estate veterans Fernando Schneider and Debbie Dunbar have joined Douglas Elliman in Weston, Fla.

The move follows their successful sale of a prestigious 18-acre land parcel in Southwest Ranches for $9.745 Million—the highest-priced sale of a vacant in the town, per MLS data, and the third-highest-priced sale overall in the area for the past 12 months.

Surrounded by luxury estates and offering significant development potential, the property attracted substantial interest due to its prime location and scale. The sale highlights the continued demand for expansive estates and investment opportunities in South Florida’s luxury real estate market.

“We are thrilled to have facilitated the sale of this exceptional property,” said Dunbar. “Its unique appeal and strategic location made it a standout opportunity for our buyer.”

“The sale not only underscores the strength of the Southwest Ranches market, but it also shows the value of targeted marketing and global exposure, which are two key reasons why we have partnered with Douglas Elliman” Schneider added.

Over several years of partnership, Schneider and Dunbar have combined a wealth of expertise, passion, and a commitment to excellence in the South Florida real estate market.

Born and educated in Brazil, Schneider brings a global perspective to the business. His previous international corporate career at Sony Electronics and Unilever honed his skills in sales, marketing, and strategic negotiation across multiple markets, which he now leverages to deliver exceptional results for his clients. He is fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish and is currently learning French. Outside of real estate, he is passionate about photography, fitness, and cultural diversity—values that align with South Florida’s vibrant lifestyle.

Dunbar is a highly regarded professional with a diverse background in real estate, home remodeling, banking, and entrepreneurship. Her passion for architecture and design led her to study Architecture at Arizona State University. Over the years, Debbie has successfully owned and operated a design business, renovated numerous homes, and collaborated with leading Realtors before officially becoming a licensed agent. With nearly a decade of real estate experience, she began her career in the Sarasota/Bradenton area and has been serving the Weston, Broward County market since 2018.
