Elliman Raises $50K Towards AAPI Community Fund

by Elliman Editors

July 2021

Douglas Elliman recently launched a dollar-for-dollar matching fundraiser in support of the Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) Community Fund, with a goal of raising $50,000. Committed to stopping Asian hate through both local and national organizations, this fund aims to address the urgent issues that face the AAPI community as well as broader, systemic problems. With donations coming from Douglas Elliman’s network of nearly 7,0000 sales professionals across the country, their clients and the public, as well as the dollar-for-dollar commitment from Douglas Elliman’s parent company, that goal has been surpassed with a combined total of $51,624.   “We are pleased to announce that through our combined efforts we have surpassed our goal in helping to support this worthy cause,” Elliman executives wrote in a company-wide memo. With the donations received, the AAPI Community Fund will issue grants to trusted AAPI organizations working to rectify the racial inequalities in our society.
