As a transplant to Houston from Lebanon, Moni was forced to flee her
home country in 1976 and relocate to the United States after a year of
civil war. In hopes of finding a better life than the one she left behind,
Moni made Houston her second home, struck by its vibrancy and friendly
people. Through this challenging experience, Moni learned she has what
it takes to thrive in new situations and environments, turning obstacles
Having received her undergraduate degree in accounting, Moni started
her career managing foreign financial investments for overseas clients.
The role required extensive international traveling and earned her
a reputation of outstanding professionalism, effective negotiations,
loyalty and the ability to work with all personalities.
A business-minded professional, Moni also was the founder and owner
of a self-funded production company targeting a high-margin upscale
market. The company enjoyed steady growth built on exceptional
service, careful attention to detail, dedication and genuine concern for
the needs and interests of the clients. After selling the business at the end
of 2002, Moni assisted a group of international investors with expanding
their established Houston Health Care facility overseas. Within two
years, Moni initiated, developed and effectively negotiated with the
Ministry of Health and government-owned hospital executives for an
International Expansion Operational Plan into Dubai, U.A.E., bringing
additional quality health services to the citizenry.
Moni’s varied experiences further honed her innate determination,
tenacity, persistence and courage to succeed in whatever she attempts.
Being an opportunity seeker and results driven, she obtained her real
estate license. Her energy, quality customer service, positive attitude,
motivation and more than 20 years of high-end marketing expertise
earned her a Top Producer title.
Moni’s language skills include fluency in Arabic and English, as well
as some French and Spanish. She is involved in numerous community
fundraising and charitable organizations and is recognized as an
active member of St. Jude Hospital Houston Chapter, The Alzheimer’s
Association Houston and Southeast Texas Chapter member, and a
member of the National Association of Realtors, the Texas Association of
Realtors and the Houston Association of Realtors.
