About Betty

Betty Crain is a third-generation Houstonian who grew up in the
West University and Tanglewood neighborhoods. Betty was raised
in a family of luxury-home builders, which drove her passion for
real estate from an extremely early age. Through her upbringing
and work experiences, Betty translated her knowledge of different
aspects of real estate and turned it into a career.
Prior to becoming a real estate sales associate, Betty worked for
her family’s home-building business as a designer and executive
assistant. She also held a role as the liaison for the Museum of
Fine Arts, Houston’s board of trustees. Her experience with
multiple high-end local home builders gives her vast insight and
knowledge into the construction process from start to
finish.
Betty’s passion for residential real estate is evident through her
lifelong experience. What she loves doing is using her extensive
heritage and real estate history to give her buyers a unique
understanding of new construction and the purchasing process.
She currently resides in the Highland Village area and specializes
in Houston’s premiere neighborhoods including River Oaks,
Tanglewood, West University, Museum District, Heights,
Downtown and Bellaire.
After graduating from The Kinkaid School, Betty earned her
bachelor’s degree at Texas Christian University.
Betty and her husband have a yellow Labrador and a large rescue
dog.
Betty enjoys traveling off the beaten path and has visited more
than 40 different countries around the world. She’s adventurous
and has been skydiving and scuba diving. She also enjoys playing
polo at the Houston Polo Club and volunteering at the Junior
League of Houston.
