Jessica Svensson was destined for real estate. In her formative years, she spent time accompanying her aunt, a New York-based Douglas Elliman agent, to esteemed listings and showings. New York's incomparable real estate proved eye-opening for Jessica, and helped foster a lifelong love for finding the perfect home.
Despite her prominent real estate roots—her family was also deeply connected to Helmsley Spear—Jessica began her career in hospitality, planning events for some of the world's most acclaimed chefs, including Geoffrey Zakarian, Laurent Tourondel, and Dan Kluger. She later worked as the Director of Events for the Core Club, a members-only club geared toward a luxury demographic.
A background in hospitality set the table for Jessica's move to real estate. Attentive to detail, hands-on, and creative in her ability to customize transactions for her buyers, she offers the same generous approach to home buying as she did to event planning. For her sellers, Jessica integrates professional photography and video with curated marketing campaigns that provide a property-specific approach to home sales.
Before returning to New York, Jessica worked in the Florida market, where she continues to hold her real estate license focusing on the Sarasota area. As a result, she can capably provide services for a wide net of buyers and sellers, including retirees, second homeowners, and investors. A tenacious negotiator committed to providing the highest level of service, Jessica's flawless track record and broad network of clients—some of whom she has worked with for over two decades—testify to her professionalism and dedication.
Jessica originally hails from Sarasota, FL, but she earned her BFA from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. She has also lived in Honolulu, HI and South Florida, and now lives in New York again, along with her husband, Swedish chef Johan Svensson, her daughter Freja, and her rescue cats. When she isn't perusing the market, Jessica enjoys exploring New York's vigorous food scene, riding her Peloton, and keeping her Pilates instructor certification fresh. A dedicated citizen and mom, Jessica is a member of her daughter's Parent Teacher Association and is actively involved with God's Love We Deliver and MOVENYC, an arts and social justice organization whose mission is to cultivate greater diversity and equity within the dance profession and beyond.
