Having lived for many years in Brookville, and owning a home in North Haven, Sag Harbor for decades, she knows Long Island like the back of her hand, as she does NYC – which is why she answered the calling of her clients to represent them in these in-demand cross-markets.

In her tenure, Mary Anne has excelled in sales at some of the best names in the business. Prior to Douglas Elliman, she was the top listing broker at her previous brokerage firm, and ranked in the top 1% of realtors in the country. She also was proprietor of her own Atlanta-based construction company, creating a natural segue into the world of real state. Beginning her career as a high school English teacher and college professor instilled in her a desire to educate, which she still does with every client, and at Douglas Elliman where she trains and mentors new agents.

A graduate of St. John's University, Mary Anne holds a B.A. in English as well as a Master's in English and Education from Adelphi University. She is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), Association of Real Estate Women (AREW), National Organization for Italian-American Women, and the Columbus Citizens Foundation. Her special designations as a NY Residential Specialist (NYRS) & Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) enable her to assist so many sellers and buyers, especially those 55+ and older to navigate from one segment of their lives to a new one. Mary Anne was most recently honored by New York State Representative, Jodi Giglio, as a Woman of Distinction, and was given the award of St. Claire by Saint Francis Food Pantries & Shelters, for her work of the less fortunate in New York City. She was recognized in November 2011 by NY1 as “New Yorker of the Week” for her annual coat drive. To date, with the loyalty of her clients, she collects over 11,000 coats for those less fortunate each year. As a Board Member of “Maureen’s Haven” – a homeless shelter outreach – her tireless efforts continue for those in need.

Mary Anne was additionally a featured speaker at the Master Sales Academy in Las Vegas, has served as a speaker on numerous real estate industry panels, spoken at private clubs, and appeared on television as a real estate trend expert.
