About Marjo

A New Yorker with a European twist, Marjo has spent over 16 years selling New York City real estate. This Finland native is a longtime NYC and a resident agent in the Historic Concourse District in the South Bronx. She specializes in representing buyers and sellers in the Bronx; plus has continuously sold homes throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens.

Clients describe Marjo as a hand-holder, with a remarkable sense of knowledge and guidance. They appreciate that she is readily available to tend to their unique needs, and is always educating herself to assist them in making informed decisions.

“I strive to make the real estate experience less stressful with a friendly and warm attitude. I love what I do; and that transfers into successful results and great relationships. I provide excellent customer service to my clients, which are mostly referrals. I also love the joy of working with repeat clients over and over again.”

Marjo is a cheerful, upbeat real estate professional with sharp negotiation skills to represent her clients’ best interests. She is here to help you achieve your home buying or selling goals, with a positive mindset and ongoing relationship afterwards.

Her real estate career began at a small family-like boutique company. Marjo worked in Helsinki for two years learning European real estate. Prior to Douglas Elliman, she was with a large brokerage company in the tristate area.

Marjo is fluent in several languages, and graduated college in Finland. She enjoys exercising, attending NYC cultural events, and relaxing at her second home in Jamaica, W.I. in her free time.
