Born into a real estate family, Gerard began to develop a passion for the business upon graduating from Gettysburg College. He decided to enter the real estate bussiness as soon as he graduated, learning for a few years the development business in tertiary markets before entering the NYC brokerage business.
After entering the NYC residential brokerage business with little knowledge of the market, he quickly began to absorb information from his colleagues and closed well over $100,000 in rental transactions in his first year. He then switched his focus to the sales side and has since brokered in excess of $150M. Throughout the years, Gerard has rapidly expanded his network, which now includes top-tier clientele: CEOs, entrepreneurs, investors, executives, commercial brokers, corporate finance professionals, portfolio managers and attorneys at white-shoe firms. He maintains an encyclopedic knowledge of the market, inventory and past transactions, searching for non-public information and off market deals. He makes it a point to bring a data driven approach to every transaction.
In a sector that’s rapidly evolving, Gerard is constantly adapting and welcoming change. Capitalizing on the proprietary technology databases his team founders created, he analyzes trends and identifies the best deals in the marketplace on a consistent basis in order to share them with his clients and investors.
A varsity athlete in college, Gerard utilizes his competitive nature in an attempt to stay a step ahead of his peers. He knows what it’s like to overcome obstacles and work in a team environment. Reading news sources like the Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg every day, he constantly stays in touch with friends and family in the finance industries in an effort to gain a greater understanding of macroeconomic activity and trends and ties them in with the New York City real estate market in order to advise his clients properly.

In his spare time, Gerard enjoys working out, listening to music, going to the beach, traveling and spending time with his friends and family. He is a massive supporter of Chelsea FC in the English Premier League and the New York Football Giants.
