About Mark

Mark Edelstein has always worked well with people and enjoyed buying/selling properties, which is why real estate was the natural move after selling the successful textile company he started from scratch. Mark’s interpersonal savvy, ability to always find common ground in his dealings, and flair for making clients feel comfortable are keys to his effectiveness in this predominantly “people business.”

A licensed broker for many years, Mark complements his professional experience selling and renting real estate with his personal passion for building/selling his own properties. His caring, capable guidance when navigating clients through the intricate Manhattan real estate process - from apartment showings to board approvals - has earned him loyal relationships and enthusiastic referrals.

Mark has vast knowledge of and a wealth of connections in Manhattan and the Hamptons as both a residential specialist and homeowner in these markets. He also has a keen understanding of home building and construction that fuels his vision when utilizing and presenting space in the best way possible. Buyers and sellers rely on his expertise and quality service to achieve the best outcome for their unique real estate needs.

Originally from Long Island, Mark earned his BA in Business and Spanish. He is fluent in English, Spanish and French. Prior to his career in real estate, Mark founded and built Omega Textile Corporation, a thriving business that supplied fabric to the ladies’ and men’s companies that made ready-to-wear. He has resided in Manhattan for over 20 years, and in 1992 built his home in East Hampton where he is also an associate broker. Thanks to his active networking and association with the Atlantic group, Mark has established a following there as well.

An Upper East Side resident with his wife, a teacher at FIT, and son who graduated from University of Florida. Mark can break down the Manhattan real estate maze for individuals as well as families with children seeking their perfect niche. Outside of work, he is an avid tennis player, cook and world traveler.
