The incorporated village of Oyster Bay Cove extends northward to Oyster Bay Harbor and borders Syosset to the south. Heavily wooded, it has a rural feel, with a mix of traditional and modern homes on large lots. Oyster Bay Cove is home to the 12-acre Theodore Roosevelt Sanctuary and Audubon Center, as well as Youngs Cemetery, where the former president is buried. The village has its own beach, while residents also have rights at Town of Oyster Bay beaches, including Tobay Beach on the Atlantic Ocean. In nearby Oyster Bay, residents can shop, dine, and take sailing lessons at the WaterFront Center.
