Raymond Smith has been a licensed real estate broker in Southampton for thirty years. He has earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues and clients alike. Ray’s knowledge, honesty and integrity have made him one of the most successful real estate brokers in the Hamptons. Year after year he has remained a top producer.
During his career Ray has represented many of the largest and most interesting listings in the Hamptons such as: the 500 acre Bridgehampton Race Track, now Golf at the Bridge; Bay Berry Land, now Sebonack Golf Club; and the famous Trupin Castle, just recently demolished to make way for Calvin Klein's new beach house. He has sold and/or listed more than $400,000,000 of ocean and waterfront estate properties in the past decade.
Ray was hired at DE in 2003 as Managing Director of the Southampton Office. He is proud to have led the Southampton Office to its current #1 ranking in the Long Island and Hamptons Divisions. In just 5 years he has achieved the DE Legend Status Award, and in 2007 was ranked #3 as individual broker out of 65,000 DE brokers nationwide.
Ray is a graduate of SUNY Binghamton Harpur College and Vietnam era veteran. He lives in Southampton with his wife of 38 years, Linda. His son and daughter, Matthew and Shawn, are the pride and joy of his life.
