About Jeremy
Jeremy Dalpiaz is originally from the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. After running for city council of his hometown in 2003 and completing his degree in Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy at Michigan State University in 2004, he accepted a position on Capitol Hill and began his graduate studies.
During his time on the Hill, he served two members of Congress from Michigan and completed a Master of Public Policy degree from George Mason University. Notably he handled financial services matters during the 2008 financial crisis. He then took a position as a federal lobbyist for credit unions and later became a regulatory advocate for community banks, with a focus on cyber security and data security policy.
Jeremy earned his Virginia real estate salesperson license 2014 and his District of Columbia real estate salesperson license in 2015. From 2014 until 2019 he was a dual career agent. After 15 years in and around government and government relations, he decided it was time for a change, making real estate his primary career. To further his professional knowledge, he earned his Virginia Broker’s license in 2022 and his District of Columbia Broker's license in 2025.
As a founding member of Douglas Elliman Real Estate in the Mid-Atlantic region, he manages a small diverse team of agents, who altogether handle a portfolio of clientele from traditional resale transactions, investor acquisition and resales, new construction, new development sales and marketing as well as farm and land sales.
Jeremy is a firm believer in community involvement, having served as President of two condominium associations, taking one from developer control to owner control. He currently serves as his HOA’s President and is also an active member of the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce. At the end of 2024, he was appointed to the Virginia Real Estate Board by the Governor of Virginia. Jeremy and his husband live in Western Loudoun County with their daughter and rescued dog and cats.
