The Setting

The interiors at Riversmeet complement the exceptional landscape surrounding it and were carefully envisioned by the brilliant designer Louise Copeland. The 12-acre grounds at Riversmeet are exceptionally well cultivated. An exquisite gunite pool with a stone patio for loungers is lined with mature hydrangea bushes and looks out onto the river. The bluestone dining terrace wraps around the front of the house and rests above the grassy knoll that unfurls gently below. Through the woods is a series of trails leading to a lookout deck, a striking ridge, and the banks of the Roeliff Jansen Kill, offering easy access to the Hudson for kayaking and boating.
