The Show Goes On: 5 Picks for a Virtual Art Basel 2020
by Elliman Editors
December 2020
Like nearly everything else in 2020, Art Basel Miami Beach had to get a little creative to keep this year’s show afloat. The good thing is, creativity comes easily to artists.
Running December 4-6, this year’s show (renamed ‘OVR: Miami Beach’) will be almost entirely virtual, featuring 255 galleries from 30 countries through online viewing rooms. Douglas Elliman Development Marketing is proud to return as an Art Basel Miami Beach sponsor for an 8th consecutive year and delighted that North America’s largest art fair has persevered in a year of adversity.
This year’s virtual version of the show will be accompanied by a series of public art displays, online conversations, gallery walkthroughs, and virtual events hosted by galleries and partners.
