RISMedia Names Elliman CEO Scott Durkin a 2022 Real Estate Newsmaker

Douglas Elliman CEO Scott Durkin was named a 2022 Real Estate Newsmaker by the industry publisher RISMedia, which announced its fifth annual list on Feb. 1. Scott Durkin Presented under the title “Excelling Despite Uncertainty,” this year’s class of honorees were recognized for the ways in which “they navigated the peaks and valleys of challenges that lingered from the ongoing pandemic while also riding the wave of a low-inventory-induced market frenzy to a new crest.” Durkin—who became CEO in August 2021 and recently presided over the brokerage’s initial public offering just before the New Year—was honored as a Futurist, one of eight categories of Newsmakers. He and his fellow honorees from across the industry will be showcased in the  February 2022 issue of RISMedia’s  Real Estate  magazine   and in an  online directory on RISMedia.com .
