Actor Keegan-Michael Key has sold his 35th-floor two-bedroom apartment at 56 Leonard for $5 million in a deal that closed after just 30 days on the market. The listing agents—Douglas Elliman’s Steven Cohen and Tim Malone of The Steven Cohen Team —represented both the seller and buyer on the deal, which went into contact after a short nine days. Cohen and Malone are now working with the buyer to rent the property. The 57-story property , developed by Alexico Group and designed by Herzog & de Meuron, is the tallest building in Tribeca and is popularly known as the “Jenga Tower” for its resemblance to the party game featuring a structure of precariously stacked blocks. The corner unit includes two private terraces, soaring 11-foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows with southern and western exposures. The home is thoughtfully designed to enhance modern living and entertainment, with an entrance gallery that leads into an expansive living room with open kitchen and space for a dining area. The kitchen features sleek finishes, including a black granite island with sliding countertop, satin-etched glass cabinetry, and high-end appliances.
