On September 26, 2020, Douglas Elliman will pair up with SoulCycle to host the eighth annual Ride for Love to benefit God’s Love We Deliver.
Over the past seven years Douglas Elliman agents have biked thousands of miles and raised over $1,000,000 for God’s Love and their mission to serve tailored, nutritional meals to those who are too sick to shop or cook for themselves. That $1,000,000 translates into about 100,000 home-cooked meals for those in need throughout the New York metro area.

Over 60 Elliman agents and staff are expected to ride this year with a goal of raising $200,000 in a reimagined, socially distant Ride for Love allowing riders to take part in a variety of ways and locations. Participants may choose to ride 25, 50 or 100 miles in a location of their choice in small, socially distanced groups of no more than ten people. They may also choose to ride at home on a stationary bike.
SoulCycle, the globally recognized, inspirational fitness experience, has dedicated its Hudson Yards location to allow 40 riders to take part in a socially distanced, 45 minute outdoor class led by one of their popular instructors. Each SoulCycle rider will commit to raising $1,000 with all other riders aiming to raise at least $500.

Bridget Harvey, founder of The Harvey Team at Douglas Elliman in New York City, will be the ride director again this year, overseeing all volunteers, fundraising initiatives and ride logistics for the partnership between God’s Love and Elliman.

God’s Love We Deliver cooks and home-delivers nutritious, medically tailored meals for people too sick to shop or cook for themselves. To support the health of their clients, they also provide ongoing nutrition assessment, education, and counseling. God’s Love is a non-sectarian organization serving people in need and their children and caregivers throughout the five boroughs of NYC, Westchester and Nassau Counties and Hudson County, New Jersey. All of their services are provided free to clients and full of love.
