Douglas Elliman Long Island Celebrates One Year Anniversary in Rockville Centre
by Elliman Editors
November 2021
Located at 304 Merrick Road, Douglas Elliman’s state-of-the-art Rockville Centre office was full of merriment last month as its agents, friends, clients and the surrounding local businesses gathered to celebrate the one-year anniversary of its grand opening. Douglas Elliman RVC opened its doors in October 2020 with just five agents and today touts a team of 33 agents in total, while still growing under the leadership of branch manager, Donna O’Reilly Einemann.
The special evening kicked off with a long-awaited ribbon cutting celebration which was attended by Mayor Francis X. Murray, and other elected officials and members of the Rockville Centre Chamber of Commerce.
“We were so thrilled to come together as a team and celebrate such a fantastic and successful first year in our new Rockville Centre home,” said Einemann. “We love being a part of this wonderful community and we are so grateful for the support of our neighboring businesses and clients. Due to the pandemic, we didn’t get to open with the fanfare we had hoped to last October, so our ribbon-cutting was an eagerly awaited event and a special moment to reflect on a year’s worth of growth, terrific sales achievements, and the hard work of our amazing agents. They are truly the best in the business, and we all look forward to continuing to grow our roots here in Rockville Centre.”
The 3,000 square-foot, well-appointed space holds 30 desks, three desktop workstations, three cafe-style laptop workstations, two conference rooms and a private office that teamspartners can utilize for strategy sessions. The space, formerly used as a fitness studio, underwent a complete renovation prior to opening, resulting in a bright, modern design that provides an inviting open space with high ceilings and incredible ambience. Guests will find a welcoming entry lounge area and front desk, and convenient front and back entrances with an adjacent parking lot.
Elliman’s talented Rockville Centre agents have represented some very significant properties this year, including 50 Hanson Place in Malverne, listed by Elliman’s Joseph DeVito and sold for $1,150,000, which marks the highest priced sale achieved in Malverne to date for 2021. New to the market, an architectural masterpiece at 199 Woodside Drive in Hewlett Bay Park is exclusively listed for $7,595,000 by Elliman’s Leah Sajovits and Alex Sajovits .
“Our Rockville Centre Team is extremely busy closing in on our 2021 goal of 130 closed units, really an outstanding achievement for a brand-new office, and it’s been a full team effort,” said Einemann. “Our 33 agents consist of 21 experienced agents and 12 new agents. What’s so exciting is that nine out of our 12 new agents have already done a transaction this year, thanks to the unsurpassed training opportunities and resources our agents have access to at Elliman.”
“We are so proud of the growth and success of our Rockville Centre office,” said Ann Conroy, CEO of Douglas Elliman’s Long Island Division . “This was an incredibly challenging year to be starting out, but through hard work, dedication and sheer talent, this team has thrived and kept the momentum going strong. Congratulations to all, and I wish them continued success.”
