Douglas Elliman Agents Attend the Annual Power of Pink Luncheon in Rumson, New Jersey

Douglas Elliman was proud to support the 31st Annual Power of Pink Luncheon on July 23 in Rumson, New Jersey, joining more than 400 community leaders, supporters, celebrities, grateful patients and local businesses for an inspiring afternoon dedicated to advancing cancer care throughout the region.
Hosted by the Monmouth Medical Center Foundation and the Women's Council, the annual luncheon celebrated the power of philanthropy and community while raising critical funds to benefit the Thomas and Maryann Tizzio Wellness Spa at the Specialty and Cancer Care Center at the Vogel Medical Campus in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. The new center will expand access to advanced cancer services, including imaging, radiation therapy, ambulatory surgery, infusion care and wellness resources for patients and their families, helping to ensure that exceptional care is close to home.
Jill Martin, the Emmy Award-winning fashion anchor and TODAY show lifestyle contributor, spoke at the luncheon, sharing her experience as a breast cancer survivor and highlighting the importance of supporting cancer care in local communities
Douglas Elliman was an integral part of the event experience, with attending agents on-hand to support the local community, helping create a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the afternoon. The firm also treated guests to a branded pop-up flower cart, where fresh lavender bouquets were gifted to all 400-plus attendees, adding a memorable touch to the celebration of a community coming together for a meaningful cause.
Several Elliman agents that attended the event shared why supporting the Power of Pink Luncheon and the Monmouth Medical Center Foundation is important to them.
"Todd [Katz] and I have attended the Power of Pink Luncheon for many years, and we've always been proud to support Monmouth Medical Center and the incredible work they do for our community," said Chris Katz. "It's about standing with those whose lives have been touched by breast cancer, helping raise awareness and critical funds, and honoring the strength and resilience of patients, survivors and their families."
For Suzanne Veninata, supporting the event reflects her commitment to the local community. "Supporting the women and families in our community who are navigating one of the most difficult experiences of their lives is something I feel deeply called to do," she said. "This event brings together incredible people around a cause that is both personal and powerful."
The luncheon emphasized the impact that community partnerships and philanthropic support can have in promoting access to exceptional healthcare throughout Monmouth County.
"Cancer has touched my own family and so many people I know," said Susan Wahba. "I have seen loved ones fight this battle, and I understand the importance of having access to exceptional care and resources close to home. Cancer has affected nearly everyone in some way, which makes supporting advancements in care and hope for families in our community so important."
Katz also shared the importance of investing in local healthcare. "We believe that a strong community depends on a strong local hospital," she said. "Supporting the Foundation is our way of giving back to an institution that has given so much to our family and to countless others throughout Monmouth County."
The Power of Pink Luncheon continues to be one of Monmouth County's signature philanthropic events, bringing together community members and organizations committed to advancing cancer care close to home.
