About Marina

A native of the former USSR, Marina Bartashnik came to the US as a child and lived in Chicago for 30 years. She graduated Cornell University and went on to receive Masters Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Eight years ago she and her family relocated to Boca Raton. Since arriving in South Florida, Marina has been preparing, educating herself and observing everything about life in Boca, all in an effort to become the best real estate agent in the area.

Prior to moving into professional real estate, Marina built her career in Psychology and Marketing. Working for Deloitte, she spent her career downsizing CEOs and Vice Presidents that were underperforming in their respective industries. The true embodiment of “grace under fire”, Marina thrives in high-stress environments, always thinking outside the box and resolving conflicts in the most effective way possible. Her ability to get to the bottom of the needs and desires of each of her clients, overcoming challenges with patience and professionalism, has translated perfectly to her career in high-end real estate. Marina understands that clients need to truly be heard and takes great pride in listening to all their wishes and desires. She understand their goals and delivers on them, surpassing expectations each and every time. Marina prides on providing concierge real estate services to budgets from 100 thousand to 100 million, where no request is ever too big or too small.

Marina’s unwavering professionalism is further enhanced by a simple, yet effective philosophy, in a world where you can be anything you want to be, she chooses to be kind. She treats everyone with dignity and respect from janitor to CEO.

Born in Kiev, Ukraine, Marina speaks three languages fluently: Russian, Ukrainian and English as well as conversational French. She had a very competitive childhood and was on a rhythmic gymnastics Olympic reserve team for Ukraine, which required daily practices for several hours before and after school. She was also a child prodigy and played piano competitively, being the youngest concert pianist to have solo concerts with Orchestra at the age of six. Although her childhood didn’t leave much time for idle play, it taught her to maximize every second and be very efficient with her time and energy.

Today, in her free time Marina enjoys traveling with her family and exploring the world. An avid reader, she also enjoys painting surrealistic pictures on canvas. Additionally, Marina runs a non for profit charity, Play it Again Toys, collecting toys and clothes for children in orphanages around the world.
