Behind Yahz's calm and patient demeanor is a passionate and creative problem solver who works tirelessly on behalf of her clients.

Yahz’s depth of knowledge of New York City neighborhoods comes from living here for much of her life. Her passion for real estate started with her own purchases and sales of her homes, including a condo where she served as board treasurer. Yahz understands from her own experience how long it can take to find the right home. This insight gives her the determination to work with clients as long as it takes to find the best fit.

As long-time Brooklyn residents, Yahz and her husband, David cherished the countless hours they spent throughout their daughter’s childhood visiting Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Museum, the Prospect Park Zoo, the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens and attending events at Berkeley Carroll, where their daughter went to school. As members of Congregation Beth Elohim, Yahz’s husband served as the Board President from 2008-2011.

Yahz received a BA in English from the State University of New York. Prior to her career in real estate, she worked in the music business, including in music publishing and production and as a singer-songwriter and leader of a critically acclaimed NYC band. She also taught music at MS 51 in Park Slope and Congregation Beth Elohim.
