About Richard

Beginning as a realtor and gaining industry experience in Queens, Richard W. Abatelli traveled east for the family business and succeeded his Grandfather at Abatelli Realty on the North Fork. Richard is the 3rd generation of the Abatelli family who has been serving the Real Estate Community since 1908.
From selling and appraising real estate for more than 40 years, Richard’s range of market resources has grown from the boroughs of the City of New York to the farms, neighborhoods, and waterfronts of the bucolic North Fork.



Richard’s involvement in these local markets through business and through serving many local charitable organizations, has created a substantial network of consumers and friends. Along with his continual real estate education, training, business, and the participation in local communities, Richard has an excellent understanding of North Fork communities. Richard maintains the same professionalism and high integrity standards that have been with him from the beginning of his career, and together with his clients, works diligently to achieve the goals of their new opportunities.
