Michele Ferguson Nichols has been a Realtor in Fairfield County since 2003 serving Wilton, Weston, Westport, Fairfield, New Canaan, Darien, Ridgefield, Redding and Easton. Through Michele’s extensive involvement in the community, where she has raised her 3 children for more than 20 years, she has built a network of local resources to help clients through all stages of the listing, buying, and settling-in process.

With a contacts list and knowledge of the area second to none, she is recognized as a go-to person who can deliver the connections and service providers her clients need, when they need it – be it a staging expert, a trusted local craftsman, or even the best dentist in town.

Michele came to Douglas Elliman in 2016 after more than 10 years at the top-producing realty group in Wilton, where she quickly established herself as a strong performer. A former New York City resident, she has a particular ability to connect with people moving into Fairfield County from outside the area. A graduate of UNH, Michele honed her marketing and communications skills in a former career in Marketing/PR for the insurance industry.

When not helping her clients sell or select a home, Michele can be found rallying volunteer committees as Chair or Co-Chair of charitable causes and community events such as the Wilton Library's annual gala, the Taste of Westport, or the Wilton High School Theater and Arts Association. Her extensive personal connections in town have resulted in a noteworthy ability to produce donations from local merchants for her favorite community causes. For fun, Michele loves walking outdoors, dancing, and yoga. She also knows the best local spots for stand-up paddleboarding and family kayaking.
