About Emily
Emily Farrar understands that the real estate journey can be a challenging one, especially in a competitive, fast-paced marketplace like Greater Boston’s. And, she recognizes that in order to make smart, well-informed decisions, her clients – whether they are buying, selling, or looking for an investment property – need to be educated and need to be able to rely on their real estate professional to advocate for them in order to achieve their goals. Emily is just that professional. She is pleased to be a member of Douglas Elliman’s top-producing Sarkis Team, where she builds on her years of experience and continues leading her clients (repeat, referred, and new) on their real estate journeys.
To Emily, providing her clients with the highest level of service is paramount. Every client deserves and receives personalized attention – from the first meeting to the handshake at the closing table. She is highly motivated and, as a seasoned professional, is known for paying meticulous attention to detail. She serves as consultant and as advisor and has been applauded for having the resourcefulness to think outside-of-the-box if needed to get the desired results. “My clients find out pretty quickly that I have their best interests in mind. Whether they have some knowledge of the marketplace, or are new to the area and need more hand-holding, my goal, first and foremost, is to provide them with the level of service they want, need, and deserve.”
Emily resides in Wellesley and considers Boston’s Metro-West communities to be her area of expertise: Weston, Newton, Brookline/Chestnut Hill, and, of course, Wellesley. Not only does she provide her clients with comprehensive market data - trends, inventory, recent listings, and notable transactions - but she can inform them about everything from schools to shopping. “No question is unimportant and there is never a wrong time to ask. I make myself readily available and am extremely responsive. I strive to be client-centric.”
Emily formerly worked in the hospitality industry, where she learned to make quick decisions in fast-paced environments in order to achieve first class results. She has put that skill to good work as a real estate professional.
Born in Toronto, Canada, Emily graduated from University of New Hampshire with a BA in communications. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and being active in her community. Emily is going on her third year of being the Committee Chair of the Wellesley Mothers Forum Working Mom's subgroup and also as an active board member of the Wellesley Hills Junior Women's Club.
