About Adriana

Born and raised in Houston, Adriana Longoria Banks has real estate and building in her DNA. Inspired by her grandfather Eduardo Longoria, who founded several banks in Mexico, Adriana embodies the passion and business savvy with which her grandfather conducted all his work.

With almost a decade of real estate experience, Adriana brings flexibility, understanding, and an ability to efficiently get the job done with a positive attitude to every transaction. Above all, she strives to build a relationship with every client and deliver them the best education.

Before becoming a real estate agent, Adriana held several jobs which prepared her for helping clients buy and sell homes. For two years, she worked as a certified land-man for an oil and gas company, a position that enhance her love of real estate. Eventually, she started a public relations department for the company and later worked as a fundraiser, positions that helped her refine business, sales, and people skills.

Adriana grew up in Briargrove and Memorial and currently lives in Rice Military with her husband, Mark Monroe, a wealth advisor with Morgan Stanley, and their rescued German Shepherd, Osito. She is broadly knowledgeable about the Greater Houston area and, in addition to Rice Military, she specializes in the neighborhoods of River Oaks, Tanglewood, Briargrove, Upper Kirby, Afton Oaks, Oak Estates, Lynn Park, Memorial, Sherwood Forest, the Heights, West University Place, Boulevard Oaks, South Hampton, Carlton Woods, Katy, Cherryhurst, Montrose, Window Place, the River Oaks Shopping Area, the Rice/Museum District, the Downtown area, and more.

Fluent in both Spanish and English, Adriana attended St. Francis Episcopal Day School and Episcopal High School in Bellaire, then went on to Tulane University, majoring in General Business with an emphasis in Consumer Behavior and Marketing as well as a minor in Spanish. Her hobbies include yoga, cycling, running, riding, travel, and photography. Adriana supports multiple charities. Her compassion for others is a major source of her strength and confidence while helping her keep the big picture in view. Her ultimate focus is being her clients’ realtor for life.
