Beth Brownstein has been involved in various aspects of the real estate business (legal, financial analysis, development, renovation and sales) for the past 20 years. Her extensive professional resume is complemented by her personal knowledge as an investor and landlord. Beth also brings seasoned insight as a two-decade downtown Manhattan resident who has experienced the city through her various life stages – as a single professional, married professional, and now a married working mother with three children.
Key to what makes Beth different and effective is the empathy she brings to the home search, and her deep desire to educate clients on the market. Her mission is to find the right home for a customer's unique needs based on their price range, location preference and lifestyle. Beth similarly caters to her sellers to best showcase their prized homes, and negotiate skillfully with their interests top of mind.
A native New Yorker, Beth holds a B.A. Degree in History from The University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA, a J.D. from the George Washington University Law Center in Washington, D.C., and a Masters in Real Estate Development from Columbia University. She began her career as a real estate attorney, then transitioned into financial analysis, development advisory and e-commerce work at Cushman & Wakefield. Prior to joining Douglas Elliman as a sales and rental specialist, she owned a development company.
