Within this association, he helped build an Asian Trade Mission program to China, Korea, and Japan, where American real estate practitioners had the opportunity to engage with local developers and real estate practitioners within each country. AREAA is a non-profit professional trade organization dedicated to promoting sustainable homeownership opportunities in Asian American communities by creating a powerful national voice for housing and real estate professionals that serve this dynamic market. In addition to AREAA, he had also volunteered his time to teach English and Art to children, who are less fortunate. He has worked through an NGO in places such as Cambodia and in Colombia. The rewards achieved in helping others are more valuable than one can imagine. Richie Lin graduated from Baruch College, CUNY with a BBS in Finance. He began his career in financial planning for Met Life Securities, thereafter. As a Financial Planner, he loved working with his clients by creating financial plans and solutions for them. In 2001, he had shifted his sales career into real estate because he bought his first condo in Manhattan, loved working with his real estate broker at the time, and enjoys meeting and working with people. He has achieved the President’s Circle Award. He and his family are homeowners in the vibrant neighborhood of Fort Greene, Brooklyn.
