I am writing this letter because a telephone call or email is too small a gesture to express how grateful I am for all your hard work. You did an amazing job selling my house. It wasn’t easy, but you were patient with me and advised gently. You never gave up and we ended with a bidding war where we realized more than $100,000 over our asking price. What a deal that was! This extra money will go a long way in helping secure my future, and I am very, very happy. It was all you.
I was impressed by your diligence and never ending enthusiasm: the continual open houses (which I hated, but actually brought my eventual buyer), the follow up phone calls to visitors, the advertising, and that you kept me in the loop at every juncture. You took the time to learn everything about the house and its history. The fact that you loved our house showed in your presentations to potential buyers, and came through in the end with four offers on the table that you orchestrated.
As hard as you worked for us, you worked equally hard for the potential buyers. You were always available to show the home at a moment’s notice, any time, any day – and to scramble to get them paperwork and records that they needed. How many times were you out there? Hundreds I would guess. You ultimately read it right and recognized the perfect owners for a special property. You were instrumental in ensuring that they were able to secure the home of their dreams. That in itself was a great comfort to me, for it wasn’t easy to leave it after 48 years and many special memories.
Eileen, I was lucky to have had you on my team. If there is anything I can do for you, do not hesitate to ask. I would be more than happy to provide recommendations and will be referring you to my friends.
I am sure that you will find great success and fulfillment both in your career and in life as you move forward.
