For some unusual scientific reason that is above my paygrade the freeway does not have the impact you might think it would, and oddly enough you can hear the traffic more clearly from a few streets away. (I challange you to do a drive/walk by). This is what Ai had to say... "The presence of obstacles (Sound wall) can create shadow zones where the sound is reduced, making a closer location seem quieter than a more distant one" ...so there's that. The biggest benefit of this oversized corner lot is that due to the freeway wall, the street is much wider, less densley populated and offers far more parking than the rest of the neighborhood. The bonus room off of the detached garage (not included in the square footage listed at 1,250) opens up additional space for a workshop, office, man cave or she shed with bathroom or ...? The main house offers a true master suite with a jetted soaking tub. The full bathroom off of the hallway has a shower over tub combo. There is a good sized laundry room inside and a dining area between the galley kitchen and living room, with a classic brick fireplace and bay window. The exterior was painted last year, and although it would benefit from some upgrades and updating it is also priced very well, allowing you to create your own vision, and "sweat equity". I don't think you will find a better home value at this price.
