The recent $25.25-million sale of a spectacular estate in MacDonald Highlands not only represents the highest-priced sale of the year in Las Vegas, thus far, but it also marks the second time that Douglas Elliman agent Kristen Routh-Silberman has set a record with the same property.

Developed as a spec home and dubbed Vegas Modern 001, or VM001, the 15,000-square-foot, three- to five-bedroom mansion at 685 Dragon Peak Drive sits on 1.26 acres in a gated community in Henderson and features views of the Las Vegas Strip and Red Rock Mountains.

In 2021, Routh-Silberman represented both the developer, Blue Heron, and the buyer, loanDepot Founder and CEO Anthony Hsieh, on the $25-million sale of the property—what was then the first residential sale over $20 million in Vegas history.

Hsieh then engaged Routh-Silberman to broker the rental of VM001 to Blue Heron over the next four years before handling this month’s sale.
