I sunbathed on the southerly facing terrace for a while and then on the westerly facing one. Finally, I heard the keys. IT'S MY OWNER! Ecstatic, I jumped and barked feverishly at my leash hanging in the entry foyer. Good boy, Rover, let's go. I hope it'll be to the doggie park in the building; it's so much fun! But alas we walked in the 'hood to pick up dinner, wine and flowers; we didn't have to go far. Were having company for dinner? The doorman cheerfully greeted us when we returned. My Owner immediately threw in a load of laundry, and then sat down in the study area to do some paperwork. I'm gonna go downstairs for a quick workout before Nanna and Poppa arrive. Stay out of trouble! Ha! Nanna and Poppa stay in the guest room, but I never go in there anyway, and I love that Nanna drops scraps for me from the eating counter. Hope My Owner will make a fire tonight; I love lounging by the fireplace. A dog's life is a good life!
