Beginning his real estate career in 2009 in his native state of Indiana, Nick honed his skills in the residential, commercial, and land development sectors. When the real estate crisis hit, adapting to the changes in the market, he recognized an opportunity in the real estate finance sector and earned his mortgage broker’s license in 2010. Finding quick success in Finance, he transitioned in that field full-time and spent the next several years brokering real estate transactions. He helped investors manage and leverage their portfolios, worked with dozens of agents on their purchase transactions, and advised hundreds of clients on the home buying and refinance process.
Never losing sight of his original real estate goals, during his time in Finance, Nick also worked to help rebuild his original real estate company, and was eventually offered a partnership in 2013, which he accepted. Soon, as a Managing Broker, Nick and his partner were afforded the opportunity to expand into the Florida market. He and his partner met with a top performing team in the Tampa area, and were offered an opportunity to join forces with the team. Eventually, the Indiana partnership was dissolved, but Nick had developed a love for St Petersburg, so remained on the team in Florida, and in 2015 he accepted an opportunity to oversee his own team in developer services managing the sale of a four-and-a-half year, seven building project, selling out the project in only a few months.
Reigniting his passion for real estate sales and development in the luxury residential market, Nick was soon searching for the next avenue to expand his growing career. Today, joining the team at Douglas Elliman, he is a sought-after agent with a large network of clients, colleagues and industry contacts and a stellar reputation in Florida’s competitive Gulf Coast real estate market.t.
