Mandy Hand draws from her experiences living and working in the St. Petersburg area for over 37 years to assist her real estate clients across the Bay Area. As a 19-year teacher, a mother of three and a resident of seven different St. Pete neighborhoods, each with their own character and charm, Mandy's knowledge of everything from the tree-lined avenues to the differences of the school districts to community activities and business districts, is all-encompassing, giving her clients a unique look into how the homes and lifestyle fits with their specific needs.
Determined and diligent while also empathetic and caring, Mandy began her professional real estate career nearly 9 years ago at the encouragement of her children. “I have had an interest in real estate for more than 30 years,” says Mandy. “I believe that everyone needs a place to call home and my greatest joy comes with helping other families to find the perfect place to make their home. As a long-time resident of the area, I enjoy sharing the details of what makes this area such a special place to live.”
Owning and renting properties in neighborhoods where home prices ranged from $150,000 to over $10 million, Mandy is well-versed in all property types and price ranges. “My goal is to help buyers buy and sellers sell in the price range that is comfortable for them, so that they may begin the next phase of their lives with a sense of accomplishment and peace.”
Originally from Winter Park, Florida, Mandy developed a love of art and architecture surrounded by the impressive homes and gardens there. After graduating from Florida State University, she spent the next 15 years working in Advertising and Public Relations before moving on to a stint as a dental hygienist and 19 years as an art teacher while also finding the time to work on a U.S. Presidential campaign. Mandy is a mother of three, and is married to fellow Douglas Elliman real estate agent, Niel Allen. When she is not working or spending time with her family, Mandy enjoys all things "art", from teaching, interior design, and gardening, to volunteering with organizations across St. Pete's vibrant art and local theatre scene.
