About Midge

There are few with the heritage and influence on the Fort Lauderdale Real Estate market than Midge Clark Bachewicz. A resident of East Fort Lauderdale since 1958, she’s been a licensed Realtor since 1977. Midge continues to work with the Central Beach Alliance, the Planning & Zoning Board and City Commissioners on Residential Project Developments in East Broward County.

Midge has been instrumental in procuring, marketing and consulting for the RMI (Realty Marketing International) Team, now proud members of the Douglas Elliman elite. She has completed over 38 condominium, townhouse and hotel condominium projects in Broward and Palm Beach counties. She redesigned, reinvented and sold out REO half-finished condominium projects such as the Pilot House, Galt Ocean Club, Casurina, Corinthian and il Lugano. She and her husband Alan, designed built and sold eight luxury homes in Harbor Beach/Las Olas and purchased and managed 2-waterfront apartment buildings, later sold for townhouse projects.

She was the first Broker/company in Broward county to sell out hotel condominiums successfully, and began at the inception (1999) of what is now the RITZ CARLTON, Fort Lauderdale. She is still there selling re-sales today.

Several Noteworthy accomplishments have included: Record setting condo-hotel sales at the Ritz Carlton ($1,600 per ft. 2007) ; Record setting price psf (2015) or a condominium sale psf In Broward County at the Ritz Carlton for $1,556 psf.

Midge donates to several charities, and has served on many boards, including but not limited to the Symphony Society, Gold Circle of Nova University, Royal Dames, Charity Guild, Allegro Society, the Cancer Society 1,000+ Charter Member, Performing Arts Center, the Humane Society and Museum of Art Discovery Center.
