Rachel Weiss began her real estate career in 1996 as a Licensed Real Estate Agent in Brooklyn Heights. Before joining Douglas Elliman she spent seven years as Director of Sales for such prominent new developments in Brooklyn’s Williamsburg neighborhood as Edge, Northside Piers Tower 1 and North8 Condos, as well as The View and 5SL in Long Island City. Her broad experience coupled with her exceptional knowledge of the market and strong leadership skills serve her agents well as Executive Manager of Sales for Douglas Elliman's highly successful Brooklyn Heights, Sheepshead Bay and North Slope offices.
Raised in Brooklyn Heights and residing in Carroll Gardens with her two children, Rachel is thrilled to manage with Douglas Elliman, which to her is like "coming home." In her role, she provides valuable guidance, support and structure for her agents and fosters a positive environment where everyone is respected, encouraged and enabled to grow. This translates into a welcoming, fun, and well-run office where agents provide exceptional service to every single client.
Extremely dedicated, hardworking and motivated to help grow her agents' business, Rachel finds nothing more rewarding than watching their success. She sees and respects her agents' differences, and strives to nurture and enhance their strengths to assure their full potential.
Rachel naturally excels in her field having worked in sales since the age of 15. After college she was a personal shopper at FAO Schwarz and went on to manage Bottega Veneta on Madison Avenue. She then became an on-air host for Q2, a division of QVC, which was geared to a younger, more urban market. Three years later when the station moved to Pennsylvania, Rachel was faced with the choice to move there or to pursue what she'd always wanted to do – real estate!
Rachel is a graduate of Hunter College in NYC. She likes to spend her free time cooking, baking and relaxing with her kids. One of her favorite activities is exploring Brooklyn's wonderful neighborhoods, which "never cease to amaze me with their beauty, culture and diversity."
