Dallas Agent Victor Vo Finds Fertile Territory in Frisco, Texas

March 2026

Exciting things are happening in Frisco, Tex., north of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, and Victor Vo is ready for them.

One such thing is the new Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa, billed as “the modern home of golf” and featuring two 18-hole championship courses. But Vo, one of Douglas Elliman’s top agents in Dallas, is especially fired up about what’s happening nearby: a massive, 2,500-acre master-planned community known as Fields, which is projected to comprise up to 14,000 homes, ranging from townhomes to luxury estates.

Among the standouts are a gated community called The Preserve at Fields, where 10 custom builders are putting up 233 luxury homes that feature panoramic views of the golf courses.

“People love being close to a golf course,” says Vo, noting that the homes are priced between $5 million and $20 million. “For those in the market for a big home, this is where I take them.”

In the five years since he joined Elliman, Vo has seen the center of gravity in the Dallas luxury market move away from such venerable, older suburbs as Highland Park and travel up north to Frisco.

“That’s my territory now,” he tells me.

Apart from the new PGA complex, Frisco is home to the Dallas Cowboys and forthcoming the Universal Kids Resort. Large luxury homes like the ones Vo prefers to show his clients are increasingly the norm here.

A graduate of the architecture program at University of Texas, Arlington, Vo is ideally suited to the new development market. Modern residential architecture is one of his passions, and with older houses, he has a network of designers and contractors he can recommend.

“I love learning about new design trends, and I can translate a client’s needs into the plans for a new house very easily,” he tells me.

As a member of Elliman’s Sports & Entertainment Division, Vo also works with a number sport stars and executives in that industry. He prefers not to discuss his early deals with key players on the Cowboys, but it was those players who spread the word that he was conscientious and a straight shooter. Vo, in turn, has nothing but good things to say about his pro sports clients.

“They know what they want, they make a decision in good time, and they’re courteous,” he says.

They are also a source of referrals, not just to other members of the team, but also to those in the franchise’s operations, from bankers, investors, and lawyers to agents and other brokers who represent players from across the country.

Having built a robust referral-based business, Vo is seeing more inbound growth from raising his social media profile. He’s also seen a tip in the balance of transactions he’s doing lately.

“When I was starting, my business was 80% buyers,” he says. “Then it shifted to 50-50, and now it’s 80% on the listing side. I’ve got so many phone calls coming in every week.”

Vo owes much of this success to not holding back, always extending himself. He cited a past sale that exemplified this commitment to getting the job done.

“My sellers were almost ready to give up on their home after it had been on and off the market multiple times with other brokers,” he recalls. “They had lost faith in selling it and were behind on payments. I was their last hope.”

With the pressure mounting, Vo took a risk by investing his own money into marketing, preparing the home, and staging it within a short window. The risk was substantially rewarded: not only did he sell the house in the nick of time, but he also achieved a record sale price.

“I helped my clients gain the equity they had begun to think was impossible,” he says.

That willingness to go above and beyond on behalf of his clients has clearly helped propel Vo to great success in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. In addition to being ranked among the Texas' Top 100 Real Estate Agents by Real Trends, he has been named one of D Magazine’s “Dallas Best Real Estate Agents” and “Platinum Top Producers” lists for 12 consecutive years, as well as on Fort Worth Magazine’s “Top Realtors” lists.

Vo is currently expanding his horizons with clients in Austin and back in Houston. He also has his eye on luxury new development and looks forward to building on Douglas Elliman Development Marketing’s successful growth in Texas.

“Working with the Elliman brand, this is going to be huge,” he says.

Vo doesn’t take anything for granted, but his dedication and sense of priorities—not to mention his track record thus far—are strong indicators of huge success ahead: “My motto is: Always be grateful. Hustle, but be kind. Love your job. Strive to be the best in your industry while maintaining good character.”
