Houston Agent Heather Shepherd Hosts Shop-for-a-Cause Benefit for Families at Texas Children's Hospital

Heather Shepherd, a Houston-based agent for Douglas Elliman, recently hosted an evening of fashion and philanthropy at Alice + Olivia in River Oaks District.
Held on the evening of Thursday, October 9, the Elliman-sponsored event invited attendees to sip champagne and shop at the clothing boutique, enjoy “Glam on the Go” beauty treatments courtesy of Studio A Salon, and sample hors d’oeuvres from Wolfgang Puck Catering to raise funds for Addison's Angels, a nonprofit that provides support and resources to families facing medical issues at Texas Children's Hospital.
The organization was started by Shepherd’s close friend Morgan Caraway and her husband, Jered, after their newborn daughter was diagnosed with bacterial meningitis and sepsis.
"Hosting this event has always been a dream of mine," Shepherd told Elliman Insider. "To benefit the important work of my close friend's nonprofit and to partner with my favorite Alice + Olivia!"
In addition to Douglas Elliman, several local businesses lent their support to the event, including Studio A Salon, Hästens, Denson & Co, Tramonte Design Studio, and RoMia.
