Sam Kleiner is originally from Colorado and was put on skis before he had taken his first steps. He went on to graduate Cum Laude from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon with a BA in Film Studies and Psychology.
After graduating, Sam moved to New York and began his career in the film industry, working at Mark Cuban’s independent studio Magnolia Pictures as a Public Relations assistant. His path in film PR allowed him to work with some of the top distribution companies including A24, Netflix, and Amazon Studios. He also took part in running the Oscar release campaigns for Academy Award nominated films including CARTEL LAND, MUSTANG, and MOONLIGHT. Sam’s path in film publicity led him to begin producing Film Festivals and he has been fortunate enough to work for the Tribeca, Berlinale and Cannes Festivals. His most rewarding aspect of working at Festivals was selecting the final slate of films shown to audiences and then helping each filmmaker premiere their projects with the most success. Sam orchestrated the acquisition of many of the films that he selected to major film distributors—forever changing these filmmakers’ lives.
After living in New York for over a decade, Sam has switched his focus to real estate, and he loves the challenge of finding homes for his creative community. His past of handling film industry VIP’s has nurtured a consistent and premium care to all of his clients. He loves meeting new people and enjoys a very diverse customer base. Sam likes taking advantage of all that New York has to offer, and in his free time you can find him at an art exhibit, an outdoor concert, or at a Broadway show.
