Gordon is known as a marketing master, leveraging his extensive international network which he has cultivated growing up in Manhattan and travelling the world. After graduation from Skidmore College nearly three decades ago, Gordon began to capitalize on this network, becoming the top event planner in NYC before transitioning to real estate 12 years ago.
As a native New Yorker, Gordon is part of the city’s social fabric, having built and maintained key relationships with developers, investors, brokers and real estate moguls. His ability to pair people with properties, through his unparalleled private network and natural rapport building, gives his clients access to real estate only seen by a select few.
Gordon's first real estate deal was a building purchase 22 years ago, and he still owns the property. He has since worked in many aspects of the business from on site development sales; such as 125 Greenwich and 246 Front; to investing in new developments, raising equity for developers, as well as buying and selling condos and co-ops. This extensive background enables him to educate his clients on the nuances of the real estate market and give them optimum service.
Gordon is a member of the Douglas Elliman Sports and Entertainment Division, which is dedicated to serving the unique needs of clients within these high-profile industries as well as ultra-high-net-worth individuals. The division is a new nationwide entity with global reach. This highly-specialized division has done billions of dollars in transactions and is the first of its kind to be created within a major real estate company. Gordon prides himself on his work ethic and focus on giving back. As a result of this focus, he established a team program through which all members give a percentage of their commission from each deal to the charitable organization of their client’s choosing.
Besides philanthropy, in his spare time he enjoys travelling, golf and skiing.
