Mid-Atlantic Region’s Shively Team Hosts a Houston Art Experience

In a celebration of connection across Douglas Elliman’s national network of regional markets, the Mid-Atlantic-based Shively Team hosted a recent gathering in Houston, Tex., that brought agents from Virginia, Maryland and Washington D.C. together with colleagues from Houston, Dallas and Austin. The event was held April 3 at Koslov Larsen , a gallery that specializes in contemporary fine art with an emphasis on photography-based work. The gallery’s founders, Geoffrey C. Koslov and Bryn Larsen, are Northern Virginia natives and friends of the Shively Team, who said the event was intended to reinforce ties between the two regions. “We actually have several clients who have moved between Texas and the Mid-Atlantic,” said team members Tracy Shively , Melody Hooker and Emily Shively  in a joint statement. “Coming from one of Douglas Elliman’s newer markets, the team thought that hosting this art experience would be a great way to connect with agents and clients here in Texas.” With over 50 years of combined experience in real estate sales, The Shively Team believes a home is more than a building or an address; it’s where life, connections and growth take place.
