February 2026

Douglas Elliman announced today that Caitlin Chagan has returned to the firm in a newly created role of President, Douglas Elliman Development Marketing, New York. The appointment signals a new phase of investment and bold growth at one of the country’s largest development marketing companies, which has more than $25 billion in new developments.

Chagan, who returns to Douglas Elliman after departing in July to become a cofounder and managing partner of industry startup Redeavor Group, will oversee and build on the company’s premier collection of new development projects in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Long Island, the Hamptons and Westchester as part of a new phase of planned investment for Douglas Elliman’s renowned development marketing division.

“Development Marketing is now a major focus of my work at Douglas Elliman and a significant lead asset of our business that is incredibly exciting and valuable to our firm. Caitlin’s return to Elliman speaks directly to my commitment to growing this division and the investment we are making to further strengthen our work on behalf of developers, agents, and clients," said Michael S. Liebowitz, President and Chief Executive Officer of Douglas Elliman Inc. “I’m confident that Caitlin’s vision, readiness, and expertise will propel us towards the top of the development marketing industry in New York.”

Chagan previously spent nearly a decade at DEDM, most recently as Senior Vice President and Managing Director with oversight of the division’s Brooklyn portfolio, as well as The Eklund | Gomes Team’s Manhattan new developments. She will now be responsible for operations, business development, and execution for all NYC-based projects.

“When I left last year to pursue my vision for offering developers a new kind of service, I quickly realized that no other firm provides the breadth and depth of knowledge, experience, and elevated service like Douglas Elliman,” said Caitlin Chagan, President of Douglas Elliman Development Marketing, New York. “DEDM is the only place where this vision can be achieved, and I couldn’t be more excited to return in this new role.”

“I have had the pleasure of working with Caitlin for over a decade and I am proud of the development marketing expert she has become,” said Susan de França, President and CEO of Douglas Elliman Development Marketing. “I am delighted to welcome her home.”

Chagan's appointment follows a string of recent senior level hires that include Chief Strategy Officer Wendy S. Purvey, Chief Technology Officer Chris Reyes, Natalie Passerini as Chief Marketing Officer, and an entire global growth team.

“We are making bold, intentional moves at Elliman," added Liebowitz. "Today’s announcement is an example of that momentum."
