Douglas Elliman has officially expanded into Richmond, Virginia, marking a significant step in the firm’s continued Mid-Atlantic growth. The new office, located at 3005 W. Marshall Street in the rapidly developing Diamond District, reinforces Elliman’s long-term commitment to Central Virginia and regional client connectivity.
Richmond’s steady population growth, strong cultural identity, and increasing demand for luxury housing made the market a natural next move for the firm.
“The opening of our Richmond office marks an important step in our investment in Central Virginia,” said Michael S. Liebowitz, President and Chief Executive Officer of Douglas Elliman, Inc. “Richmond’s dynamic growth, cultural appeal, and rising demand for luxury properties make it a natural place for us to invest and grow.”
As part of the expansion, Richmond-based Heirloom Group, founded and led by David Cooke, has joined Douglas Elliman. The 10-member team, which includes Sydney Cooke, Kasey Shumaker, Cassie Snyder, Ryan Clore, Heather White, Kayla Whichard, Shelby Pritchett, Nick Scherb, Donna Lodge, and Cory Stoner, will operate throughout the region as individual agents. Known for their strong luxury positioning and trusted relationships with both buyers and builders, the team brings deep local expertise and a proven track record in Central Virginia.
“Along with the opening of our new office, the addition of these talented agents will strengthen our ability to support client mobility, referral opportunities, and the evolving needs of luxury buyers and sellers across the region,” said Christina Macro, President of Brokerage, Mid-Atlantic Region.
The Richmond office debut further positions Douglas Elliman to connect clients with prime opportunities both locally and nationwide, continuing to expand the firm’s footprint across key growth markets in the Mid-Atlantic.
