Both Catamount and Buttermilk Ski resorts are all nearby, as is Tanglewood, Barrington Stage and the Williamstown Theater Festival. Choose from a refreshing swim in the former “Ore Pit” or hiking and biking in summer or snow-shoeing and cross-country skiing in winter. All of this is accessible through the trails in Taconic State Park and the 26 miles of the Harlem Valley Rail trail connecting, Columbia and Dutchess counties to Copake Falls from your own back yard.
