Douglas Elliman Celebrates 30 Years as Partner of The Hampton Classic Horse Show

Douglas Elliman announced today its return as an official sponsor of the 2026 Hampton Classic Horse Show, celebrating its 30th consecutive year as a partner of one of the country's most prestigious equestrian events. The brokerage will once again sponsor the $116,100 Douglas Elliman 5* Grand Prix Qualifier during the Classic, which takes place August 23 – 30, 2026, in Bridgehampton, New York. 

Since becoming an official sponsor in 1996, Douglas Elliman has grown into one of The Hampton Classic's longest-standing corporate partners, reflecting the brokerage's longstanding commitment to the equestrian community and the Hamptons lifestyle.

Scheduled for Friday, August 28th, the Elliman-sponsored Grand Prix Qualifier offers top riders the chance to compete for $116,100 in prize money and a custom-made horse blanket designed and manufactured by The Clothes Horse, a Cinnaminson, New Jersey-based company founded by pioneering designer Edith Friedman and led by her longtime assistant, Katrina Coldren. The $116,100 Douglas Elliman 5* Grand Prix Qualifier sets the starting line-up for the Classic's culminating event, the Longines Hampton Classic 5* Grand Prix.

The Fall 2026 edition is led by an exclusive cover story on world-renowned show jumper Kent Farrington, offering an intimate look at the trust, discipline and teamwork behind his extraordinary career. Additional features explore the exceptional artistry of MAYBACH Icons of Luxury's handcrafted equestrian collection, the rich legacy of the Show Jumping Hall of Fame, and a curated portfolio of Douglas Elliman's premier equestrian properties from luxury markets across the country.

One of the largest outdoor horse shows in the country, with more than 100 classes of competition for horses and riders of all ages and abilities, The Hampton Classic draws some 50,000 attendees each year, from equestrian enthusiasts to luminaries in entertainment, sports and fashion. The 60-acre show grounds feature six world-class show rings, the Agneta Currey Boutique Garden, more than 70 vendors and a wide selection of dining options.
