The location is prime; the serenity of the water and the woods, on a sparsely traveled road but also, direct access to Rte 30 and walking distance to the grocery store. You might choose to have your house site elevated, overlooking the West River and the neighboring horse pasture, or you could build right on Rte 30, or even operate a commercial business on Rte 30. The access up into the land is on Ellen Ware, closer to the Brookline town line. There are trails going uphill to a clearing/campsite that overlooks the River.
