The Altman Brothers Team, one of the nation’s leading luxury real estate teams, has expanded their Southern California footprint with the opening of a new office at 6009 Paseo Delicias, Suite 1A, Rancho Santa Fe, California. The move strengthens the team’s presence across the region, which now includes Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego under Douglas Elliman.
The expansion was strategically coordinated alongside Del Mar–based agent and partner Jason Saks and follows significant momentum for the group. Over the past two years, Saks and the Altman team have achieved nearly $200 million in closed sales across San Diego County. In 2025 alone, the team surpassed $1.3 billion in total sales volume across all markets and currently holds approximately $160 million in active listings.
Michael S. Liebowitz, President and CEO of Douglas Elliman Inc., called the expansion “an exciting next chapter,” noting that the team’s move into San Diego reinforces the brokerage’s position in high-growth luxury markets and reflects its commitment to empowering elite agents with the platform and resources to scale.
Peter Hernandez, President of California at Douglas Elliman, added that Rancho Santa Fe is “one of California’s most coveted luxury markets,” and stated the team brings unmatched market intelligence and relationships to the region, underscoring Elliman’s continued investment in California.
“San Diego is having a major moment, and we’re here for it,” said co-founder Josh Altman. “Expanding into Rancho Santa Fe with Jason allows us to better serve our clients and continue shaping the future of luxury real estate across Southern California.”
Jason Saks emphasized the natural alignment between the brand and the market. “The synergy between The Altman Brothers brand and the San Diego lifestyle is undeniable,” he said. “With this new office, we’re elevating the luxury experience for buyers and sellers at every price point.”
The expansion comes amid growing interest in the San Diego region from buyers relocating within Southern California, particularly from Los Angeles and Orange County, drawn by the lifestyle, relative value, and larger estate offerings. The team’s recent $49.9 million oceanfront listing in Del Mar further underscores the region’s rising global profile in the ultra-luxury market and positions the new Rancho Santa Fe office at the center of that momentum.
The team will continue specializing in the region’s most coveted luxury enclaves, including Rancho Santa Fe (Covenant, Fairbanks Ranch, Del Mar Country Club, The Bridges, and surrounding gated communities), Del Mar, La Jolla, Encinitas, Solana Beach, Carmel Valley, and Poway.
