This legacy of arts patrons Walter and Lucie Rosen is a cornerstone of cultural life in Westchester County and beyond. Caramoor regularly hosts outstanding musical performances—from classical to opera to jazz—by some of the world's best musicians at the Rosen House, a luxurious Mediterranean-style villa with a beautiful garden and grounds. An annual summer highlight is the International Music Festival–which recently saw its 66th summer–featuring concerts spanning a variety of genres from chamber music and opera to bluegrass and jazz. It's a great place to spend a midsummer evening with friends or a date.

The Aldrich is one of the few independent, non-collecting contemporary art museums in the United States, and the only museum in Connecticut devoted to contemporary art. Founded on Ridgefield's historic Main Street in 1964, the Museum concentrates its exhibition program on solo exhibitions by emerging and mid-career artists, complemented by acclaimed gallery-based education programs.
