Report Summary

Manhattan rental inventory increased and rental prices were slightly higher than they were a year ago while the market share for concessions increased to a new record.


Rents in Brooklyn slipped for the third time in four months as more inventory came online and more concessions were offered by landlords.


Northwest Queens rental prices moved higher as inventory entered the market more quickly than new leases were signed. Newly developed rentals accounted for more than half of all rental activity.
