Report Summary

In Manhattan, the share of rentals with landlord concessions set a new record for the fourth consecutive month. Studio and 1-bedroom rents were up while 2 and 3 bedroom rents have come down. There has also been an increase in new lease signing.

In Brooklyn, landlord concessions set a new record and more than tripled the year ago share. The number of new leases also rose.

Over in the northwest Queens rental market, rent trends were mixed as the market share of new development rentals more than doubled. There was a modest rise in new lease signings and inventory.
